Air Polishing

This is a relatively new treatment designed to quickly, safely and painlessly remove staining from teeth.

The treatment is carried out by the practice hygienist and during treatment tiny particles of specialised cleaning material are blown across the surface of the teeth to remove stain.

It’s a really effective method of removing stain from all tooth surfaces and particularly from the ‘nooks and crannies’ that are difficult to get to.

This treatment has proved very popular with our patients since its introduction to the practice in 2016.
