The Good News:
Most of the pandemic related restrictions, which limited our activity over the last 2 years, have now been relaxed so we are working more normally
Challenges We Face:
There is a huge backlog of treatment and check ups. This is a problem for many medical services across the country, as reported in the media. We are working hard to provide the best possible service to our patients, but:
* It will take time for us to work through the backlog of ‘check-ups’
* The waiting time for treatment appointments is likely to be quite long
• The interval between ‘check-ups’ for adult patients is likely to be longer than it was before the pandemic
Emergency Appointments/ Unusual ‘lumps and bumps’
There is no wait for emergency care. If you require emergency care or if you have any concern about your oral health, please contact the reception team so you can be triaged for an emergency appointment. Please phone as early in the morning as possible.
If you have an ulcer that is not healing, a discoloured patch of gum, or any unusual ‘lumps or bumps’ in or around your mouth, please come and have it checked as a matter of urgency.
Attending the Practice
Please do not enter the practice if you have any respiratory symptoms. There is no longer a requirement to wear masks within our premises but you are welcome to do so if you wish.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation
